Bill Saragosa
I am a sculptor and musician, originally from the United States of America. My background in the arts began some 25 years ago, and I attended one of the most prestigious Art Colleges in America, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. My focus there was in sculpture, and there too I had my first exposure, in a way, to the world of rhythmcircles.
"For the past 15 years or so, I have been very active in the pursuit of new forms of sculpture that are also musical instruments, mainly in the percussion family. Some of my creations have become famous. Today some of my designs are produced and sold world-wide by Meinl Percussion, based here in Bavaria.
"I began with drum circles about ten years ago, and more recently pursued formal training with Arthur Hull. It was through this process that I met Astrid, and that's where and how we were married.
"I enjoy conducting drum circle events because it brings out the best qualities in people and gives them a surprising sense of accomplishment. I have fun with this kind of work in many ways... and the joy that people express through drum circles is great to share."

Astrid Saragosa
geb. 1968, deutsch, verheiratet mit Bill Saragosa seit 2004, 2 Kinder.
1989-1994 Studium der Kreativen Therapie mit dem Schwerpunkt Musik an der Hogeschool Nijmegen, Niederlande, Klinische Arbeit als Dipl.-Musiktherapeutin in einem Mutter-Kind-Kurheim und der Psychiatrie, seit 1999 selbständig.
Seitdem Ausübung der Psychotherapie nach dem Heilpraktikergesetz und Dozententätigkeit an verschiedenen Weiterbildungsträgern im Bereich Musiktherapie und Psychotraumatologie. Arbeit mit der Klangwiege und Klangtrance.
Erstes Rhythmuskreisleitertraining auf Hawaii 2003. Gründung des Trauma-Instituts Weilheim 2005. Ich biete
Ausbildungen im Bereich Psychotraumatologie und Traumatherapie. Weitere Qualifikationen: 'Certified Trauma Specialist' der ATSS und Akademische Expertin Krisenintervention und Stressmanagement (Donau-Uni).
